About the courses
KINSHIP: World as Archipelago
A live, online course created by Advaya and Hannah Close
The online course runs from January 31-March 1, 2023.
It is a 6-week live online course held via Zoom organised by advaya and curated and hosted by Hannah Close. Each Tuesday from 6-8pm GMT (UK time), we will meet online for lectures and Q&A. Sessions are recorded in case participants miss them live, and participants can catch up in their own time. The course includes weekly readings, resources and activities, which are sent out in a course pack that accompanies the course. Participants are encouraged to share insights with one another via a dedicated Discord forum. A link to this forum will be sent out prior to the course start.
KINSHIP: World as Archipelago is curated and hosted by Hannah Close, taught by a group of diverse teachers. They are leading artists, scholars and activists including: Iain McGilchrist, Alastair McIntosh, Himali Singh Soin, Maureen Penjueli, Leny Strobel, Bathsheba Demuth, Craig Santos Perez, and Anna Arabindan-Kesson, plus more guest teachers to be announced. All teachers and their information can be found here.
We Will Dance With Mountains: Into the Cracks!
A downloadable Slow Study course created by Bayo Akomolafe, Jiordi Rosales, and For The Wild

Bayo Akomolafe and a vast network of co-conspirators, fugitives, dancers, thinkers, children, elders, and creatives have brought forth We Will Dance With Mountains: Into The Cracks!, the fifth iteration of a series of courses hosted by Bayo.
“The course (often described as an expedition or a wild adventure by previous participants) is about recuperating our connections with a ‘world’ that can no longer be seen as dormant, mute and passive. It is about coming to new senses, and co-generating new practices of place-making in partnership with the more-than-human world.”
We Will Dance With Mountains is a carnivalesque course in postactivism (a formulation of Báyò), a matter of fissures, fault lines, cracks, openings, seismic shifts, endings, and fugitive marronage.
Upon purchase <link in profile> you will receive a download sent to your email with the full curriculum:
