An Anthology of the Anthropocene
About the Studio
For more than a decade, For The Wild has produced long-form conversations exploring spiritual ecology, land stewardship, and cultural transformation. Over the years our work has grown from a traditional interview podcast into a broader audio and media studio dedicated to narrative storytelling, collaborative series, and carefully produced sound experiences. As our practice evolves, we are shifting away from the original one-on-one interview format and toward curated audio series, editorial storytelling, and production partnerships that allow us to explore ideas with greater depth, creativity, and care.

-
No. After more than ten years of producing interview-based episodes, we have moved away from the traditional one-on-one interview format.
Our focus is now on curated audio series, readings, narrative storytelling, and collaborative productions that bring multiple voices together around a shared theme.
-
We are no longer accepting pitches for individual interview appearances.
Instead, we collaborate with clients such as organizations, writers, artists, researchers, and practitioners through multi-episode curated audio documentary series, readings, and editorial storytelling projects developed by our team.
-
We deeply value the work of authors and researchers, but we no longer schedule individual interviews tied to book releases or publicity campaigns. Our editorial process is series-based and thematically curated, and we reach out directly when a contributor’s work aligns with a project we are developing.
However, we do collaborate with authors, publishers, and publicists through paid partnerships and multi-episode commissioned audio projects. These may take the form of narrative features, thematic series contributions, or editorial storytelling developed in alignment with our approach.
If you’re interested in exploring a collaboration, we welcome you to reach out at connect@forthewild.world with more information about your project.

At this time we are not accepting unsolicited guest pitches.

For more than a decade, For The Wild hosted hundreds of conversations with thinkers, writers, artists, and activists. Those interviews shaped the foundation of our work and community.
Over time, however, we felt called to expand the form. Rather than focusing primarily on individual interviews, we are now developing curated audio series, narrative storytelling projects, and literary readings that allow ideas to unfold across multiple voices and episodes.
This shift gives us the freedom to explore themes more deeply, incorporate sound design and storytelling, and create listening experiences that feel more reflective of the complexity of the world we’re in conversation with.
While the format has evolved, our core intention remains the same: to create thoughtful media that nurtures ecological imagination, cultural memory, and meaningful dialogue.
