Noah Klein is an arts organizer, flautist and California naturalist born and raised in the Los Angeles Basin. They live for exploring the relationships between soundscape and landscape, histories of interdependent music + arts movements, philosophies of ecomusicology, practices of emancipatory world building, deep time, decentralization, ecological resistance, autonomous zones, and understanding music as a vehicle for paradigmatic change. They've performed extensively throughout the United States and Europe, from punk squats to National Parks & from Arcosanti to the Czech Museum of Fine Arts, and have most recently released their music with Moon Glyph and Leaving Records.
In this moment they co-steward Living Earth, a solar powered & worker owned arts organization that explores the old growth cultures of Los Angeles through music and native ecology. They also host NO ONE TURNED AWAY on dublab, a show devoted to documenting the human spirit of all ages DIY movement organizing, the arts spaces that we’ve called home, and our friends who steer these moments of collective self-determination.
