RESTORATION AND RESEARCH
1 MILLION REDWOODS
Stemming from a long-term vision for the reforestation and renewal of temperate rainforests throughout the Cascadian bioregion, FOR THE WILD’s 1 Million Redwoods Project and native species nursery is wielding the intelligence of nature to push back against climate change and mass extinction.
TOGETHER, WE CAN DEFEND THE WILD.
For The Wild is a love song to these incredible wild places disappearing every day and we are committed to doing something tangible about it. This work takes the hands of many to gather and take a stand for these great living libraries. Together, there is something we can do about climate change and mass species extinction.

FOR THE WILD RESEARCH
We aim to carry out research that will enable us to be better stewards of the land, applying our findings directly in ecosystem and stream restoration projects. Our research will be replicable and accessible, allowing others to implement effective restoration practices guided by our findings. Additionally, we hope to contribute novel findings to scientific literature and publications. Current research projects include–
