WE'RE SEEKING–

 

INTERNS

All intern positions start at 5 hours/week unpaid satellite positions. Our ideal applicants are reliable, self-directed, have great communication skills, and impeccable attention to detail. Not to mention, a love of the green world and a kinship with Earth. Although this is an unpaid position, our intern will walk away with a deep understanding of movement building within today’s current environmental movement.

 

+ RESEARCH INTERN

Ideal candidate is proficient in navigating academic journals from a holistic lense, strong  writing skills, critical analysis of subject matter, and interests in ecology, whole systems, and our podcast subjects.

+ PODCAST INTERN

The podcast intern is expected to be proficient in Adobe Systems + editing software. We would love for the intern to be able to finish the first edit of the podcast episodes.

+ FUNDRAISING INTERN

The fundraising intern will help us develop the nonprofit end of our organization. This person would ideally have experience in fundraising, organization, database building, proficient communication skills, and be a skilled writer.

 

LOCAL  LAND  POSITIONS 

Live at or local-to Cougar Mountain. Our ideal applicants are reliable, self-directed, have great communication skills, and impeccable attention to detail. Not to mention a love of the green world and a kinship with Earth. These positions include a monthly stipend.

 

+ BUILDING INTERN

We are seeking a skilled natural builder to help us finish our current building projects and bring to life our living, learning classroom. Food is not included... and board is raw livin! This is a stipend position.

+ LAND STEWARD

We are hiring a land steward to help foster the earth-based portion of the For The Wild production. This land steward will guide and direct projects regarding the food forest, nursery management, permaculture projects, general upkeep, and oversight. Food is not included... and board is raw livin!

+ NURSERY ASSISTANT

This position will work directly with our 1 Million Redwoods Project team to put into action our Native Species Nursery and bring this reforestation project to life. Our ideal candidate has skills in nursery management, plant propagation/growing, seedling care, and irrigation systems. Food is not included... and board is raw livin! And includes a monthly stipend.
