Join us for an intimate dialogue on climate change.

As we stand at the brink of the Anthropocene, we begin to digest the realities of what will continue to unfold in our lifetime: devastating wildfires, floods of epic proportions, droughts and heat waves, destruction and extinction of species and our wild spaces. In this intersection of ecological destruction, we are met with political greed and cultural disillusionment. It is up to us, the ones who feel the Earth’s call, to gather together to forage solutions. We are inviting all solutionaries to gather together to grieve and connect as we rise up rooted like trees.

Join us for the 1st(!) edition of For The Wild Live, where Ayana Young, curator and host of For The Wild, and brontë velez, educator and artist, will be hosting an intimate dialogue on climate change.

We invite you to come as you are, with questions and thoughts, to collectively digest the ecological and political madness of our time. Alongside this discussion, we will hear from Ayana on how For The Wild is dedicated to large scale reforestation as a tangible, practical and heart centered solution to mitigating the unfolding effects climate change will continue to present to us.

We are proud to be offering a climate-aware menu featuring local, organic, seasonally grown and ethically produced dishes and treats. Catered by local chefs Tyler Hess, Zion Hahjes, and Daniel Becker, the menu of small bites will be accompanied by gourmet donations from local orchards, artisan creameries, bakeries, distilleries, and cafes. We are committed to maintaining zero waste ethics throughout the event and will only be using reusable or compostable/recyclable serving wear and flat wear. During all phases of the event we will strive to reduce/eliminate food waste by strategizing and planning to the size of the event, maximizing use of byproducts, composting scraps, and donating leftovers.
