Each year, the earth week committee at Humboldt State University, organizes a series of environmental and social justice events, activities and workshops during the week leading up to Earth Day. This year, they reached out to For The Wild, proposing a screening of our film, When Old Growth Ends. Followed by a speaking engagement with Ayana. Within our talk they’re requested a discussion on dismantling the systems that have been huge contributors to climate change, and encouraging youth in building resilience in a time of crisis. Their goal for the event, is to empower students to become more resilient as they move forward in their education and careers.
